The Most Expensive Cars in the World
It used to be that the McLaren F1 Street was the most expensive car in the world. At slight over $ 1 million, in the mid 90s. Now, it’s the Bugatti Veyron at $1.5 Million. In between that time, there have been record makers but mostly from auction houses that sold rare and historic vintage cars to tycoons who have nothing better to do with their cash.
I’ve read that a couple of cars from the late Hollywood actor Steve McQueen fetched more than a million, eclipsing the McLaren alright. That was a Jaguar and a Ferrari Berlin Etta Lusso, if I recall right. There’s a good chance you can find the most expensive cars in the world in just one place – the garage of the Sultan of Brunei.
