I’m seeing a lot of new cars and even old ones sporting those so-called wide rims that look nice but I wouldn’t want them for my daily commute.   There’s hardly any rubber tire to talk about.  It’s as if the wheels only have a rubber covering on the alloy rims.  And how does it feel to ride in a car with these 20” rims?

Bumpy.  Even the smoothest roads can feel bumpy.  I’ve heard sports drivers wanting to get the feel of the road.  But those wide rooms are taking things to ridiculous levels.  You get the feel of the road alright, down to the smallest asphalt grains.  Nope, I’ll take ride comfort anytime over the looks of my car.
