What can beat a Veyron?
I’ve read a lot of car enthusiasts lambaste the Veyron for having a poor power-to-weight ratio. The car body is just too heavy for its size, requiring a tremendous engine source to propel it to the speeds as promised.
Not surprisingly, you have a 1005 BHP W16 turbo charged engine that is perhaps the next powerful one after a helicopter engine. Bugatti engineers can probably learn from Porsche when they propel a light Carrera GT body with just a 12-cylinder engine.
Even the Shelby Cobra and the Maserati Tipo of the 50s have better power-to-weight ratios that make them so much faster given the miniscule power of their engines.
