If they can put in-seat videos in a plane, why not on the ground?  An excellent idea.  Why not?  Just about all the amenities you get when flying can be made available on the road.  Many luxury cars and SUVs already sport one for the back seats.

With the craze going for mpeg4 videos you load on ipods, it shouldn’t be difficult building that the video facility in vehicles.  You have the mp3 sounds replacing much of the CDs, so the next step is video.  With many multimedia cellphones already sporting the facility to play DVD-to-Mpeg4 videos, with most home PCs giving you the means to convert one to the other, the next step in auto amenities is quite clear.
