I know people who devote time, effort and oodles of money to beef-up their car’s audio systems.  I can’t blame them.  The after market is certainly fueling this with new models of sound amplifies, controls boxes with parametric equalizers and exotic speakers that can rival home systems, to attract car owners into investing to make the cars literally a music room, if not a second home.

And the sky’s the limit, as it were.  You have upscale car sound systems from Nakamichi, Pioneer and Bang & Olufsen that can dwarf a good home sound system.  I guess for people who love music, and can’t get enough of it on the road.  it’s the only way to go.
