I was pleasantly surprised to get into a new cab the other day and experience something I don’t normally get when commuting to the office.  That’s full-bodied road music.  The cab drive was kind enough to tell me that the previous owner of the cab he was driving was an audio freak, installing 12-inch subwoofers at and a 100-watt power amplifier in the trunk of the car.

It even had a 12-disc CD changer until a few weeks ago when he decided a simple mp3 player would do a more flexible job.  But regardless, the heart of his car system was a Nakamichi which I heard is an honored brand among stereo buffs.  The experience was just impressive and I plan to install something similar in my car.
