There’s really no need to have an in-seat video display and player in your car or SUV.  That probably makes more sense if you’re on the road most of the time.  But as a casual traveler commuting to and from the office, you probably would be better off using the iPod Touch and getting the right connections to have it powered and racked in your car.

I mean, there are good stands that you can bolt into the dashboard or rear seat and you can have the iPod docked to it and watch away your favorite mpeg4 movies while on the move.   And when you reach your office or destination, just take the iPod with you and continue where you left off.
