It’s great if the highway has toilets dotting the stretch every mile or two.  Most major European and Japanese highways have them.  But if you find yourself in a developing country, either as an expatriate entrepreneur or on extended official business, you might consider one of these conveniences in the car you’ve rented.

There are not that many roads or highways there with toilets and when you do find yourself in heavy traffic which is very common in the cities of Bangkok, Manila and New Delhi, you might be blessing the day you decided to get one.  Bangkok drivers are known to carry these as being stuck in traffic for hours on end is something they expect everyday.
